How do you embed long-lasting and meaningful change?

How do you ensure that the professional development you have invested in for your staff relates to improved student experience?

How do you work through the complexity of education and stay focused to create positive impacts for your school community?

How do you build safe spaces where staff feel they have a voice and agency over their own development?

Both group and team coaching can support you through all of the above - helping you turn intentions into actions that positively impact your school communities.

Do you need group or team coaching?

Group coaching is for group members working on individual goals within a theme such as metacognition or improving pastoral care. They don’t need to have met each other, or work together often but it is also possible that they do know each other and work together.

The success of each of their goals is not dependent on each other to be successful.

Group coaching will help build supportive relationships between the group but it is not a specific target of the coaching. Group coaching can be used with groups of teachers and/or leaders across a school or MAT.

Team Coaching is when the team are dependent on each to reach shared goals and it is more commonly undertaken by leadership teams. Team coaching builds awareness of each other, improves communication and strengthens the psychological safety needed to solve the complex problems that leadership teams face.
